NATIONAL SHOW 2013

August 10th & 11th

 

 

Stratford on Avon Racecourse

 

 

For those not using modern aids it is on the Bidford on Avon road, B439

 

 

Gates will open on Friday at 2.30pm. Mike will be on the gate with his list of jobs that want doing over the

 

weekend, so please put your name down to do something, it will be much appreciated.

 

 

Prices for entry are as follows: Camping is £5 for the whole weekend per unit. Those Mk1 Cortinas that

 

drive in will get in FREE, but if your Mk1 Cortina is on a trailer you will be charged  £5 for the towing

 

vehicle, all other vehicles will be charged £5.

 

 

The Catering Van will be open for business on Friday Afternoon, so you can get refreshments as soon

 

as you arrive.

 

 

Friday night is (chill out night), in case of rain, what was the spares building will be open for those who

 

want to have a chat with friends.

 

 

Saturday gates will open at 8.30am. At 10.30am there is a Road Run to Gaydon Museum, for those

 

wishing to go meet at the entrance at 10.15am. The cost is the same as last year £6 per head

 

to enter the museum.

 

 

Free lunch for club members is at 1.30pm to be followed by the A.G.M. this will be held in the Tote building.

 

 

On Saturday evening there will be a POP QUIZ, IRISH BINGO, and a DISCO. Hot dogs and cats

 

(well maybe not cats!), and burgers, can be obtained from the caterer (free of charge).

 

If you are still about after midnight please keep the noise down some of us have to be up early on Sunday,

 

to get things ready for the Main Day. Please also be sensible with your drinking, have enough, but not

 

too much, it can spoil a good weekend.

 

 

Sunday is the Main Day. Gates will open at 8.30am. Please put your Mk1’s on the show field, it does

 

not have to be in mint condition, we welcome All Mk1 Cortinas, no matter what condition, so long as it

 

 is legal if being driven. It is nice to see a Mk1 Cortina in pristine condition, but this is not what the club

 

 is about.

 

 

 

If your car is being judged can you please have it in place by 11.00am. The voting box will be at

 

the Marquee, all voting cards must be in by 1.30pm No later than 2.30pm is the raffle, and 3.00pm

 

the prize giving.

 

 

The Committee hope you all have a great weekend, and we will see you there.

 

 

If you want to make a complaint (or a compliment) please see a committee member, do not

 

 wait to put it on a faceless computer.
