New Lucas type 45d distributors suit to standard 1200 & 1500 engines (not GT)
45d is the reference number given to the design of the distributor; the 45d does have visual differences but is a later superior design to the original 25d design fitted to the Cortina as it has a better design of bearing which the main shaft runs in.
